The Omega Score Process

Gathering Sources

Our process begins by sourcing high-quality data to power our AI models. We pull from a wide range of sources, including NGO audits, third-party watchdogs, investigative journalism, and company filings. Every data feed is actively monitored and verified to ensure we are feeding our models the most accurate and comprehensive information possible.

Analyzing Data

Next, our custom AI models parse these documents to identify key patterns and assign ordinal values to specific subcomponents within our Three Pillar framework (e.g., scoring customer treatment within the People Pillar). To ensure accuracy and alignment, these models are continuously trained on our proprietary, human-analyzed sample set.

Scoring Companies

Finally, we calculate a weighted average of the underlying data to generate three distinct Pillar Scores: People, Planet, and Mission. A company's overall Omega Score is the equal-weighted average of these three pillars. When evaluating funds, we analyze the underlying holdings and calculate an asset-weighted aggregate score based on the fund's specific portfolio allocations.
